Brodie Bespoke Bathrooms
One tradesman, two completely different buyers: families replacing the only bathroom in the house, and housebuilders pricing forty plots. The site sells to both without pretending to be a bigger firm than it is.

The brief
Ross Brodie has been fitting bathrooms out of Armadale since 2004, and his family have been in the trade since 1965. He sells to two audiences who buy nothing like each other: a family replacing one bathroom, and a housebuilder who needs plot forty set out the same as plot one. The site had to serve both, prove the standard of the work, and get an enquiry moving without a salesman turning up at anyone's door.

Key objectives
- 01Sell to homeowners and housebuilders without watering down either pitch
- 02Give a one-man firm the credibility of a bigger one, honestly
- 03Get to a price without a survey or a salesman at the door
- 04Show the part of the job that decides whether it lasts, which is the part nobody sees

What we built
Two audiences, two routes
Homeowners get a fixed written price, a four-step fit and rooms photographed on handover day. Housebuilders get a per-plot rate, three ways of working, and the promise that plot forty is set out by the man who did plot one. Same firm, two entirely separate arguments.
A photo instead of a home visit
The slowest part of buying a bathroom is getting a number out of anyone. Send a couple of photos on WhatsApp and Ross comes back with a realistic range, with the fixed price still confirmed at the free visit. It removes the objection that stops people enquiring at all.
Proof a sole trader can actually show
Schlüter approval, twenty-two years on the tools, a family in the trade since 1965, and every Facebook review recommending him. Real credentials in place of the invented statistics a small firm is usually told to lean on.
Somewhere for the enquiries to land
Enquiries do not just fire off an email. They collect in a private pipeline Ross can open from his phone, so a job is never lost between a text, a voicemail and a note on the van dashboard.
